The Power Meter Monitor is used to record consumption data, which is output via an optical
interface of the AC meter. The data provided varies depending on the meter, manufacturer,
and power grid operator. Generally, however, information about the meter number, manufacturer,
and meter reading is transmitted.
The PMM is integrated into the local network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and reads the data sent by
the meter via an optical sensor. This data is made available to the user via a browser app.
To cover home installations with heat pumps and/or PV systems with two meters, up to two meter sensors can be connected to the PMM.
In addition, the PMM makes the read data available to an MQTT broker for home automation applications
like ioBroker, evcc etc. via the MQTT protocol, simultaneously with the meter reading.
